Prize Placements collects information about individuals in order to be able to select and match suitably qualified applicants to clients and to find a suitable role for an applicant.

Publicly accessible domains
Your resume/curriculum vitae – if you have shared it with us
Your interactions with us (such as interviews, notes from calls)
Third party comments (for example from references)
We only hold information that is relevant to enable us to offer the services sought from us by our clients and candidates. This could include:
Identification and contact details (e.g. name, phone number, email, proof of ID to ensure eligibility to work, information if required to provide a DBS check for which you would need to provide permission and further information at the time)
Bank details, NI number – to enable us to process pay for temporary workers and meet our legal obligations.
Professional experience, education and any information relevant for a particular role.
We may also verify the personal information we hold such as qualifications, work performance and check references. References are usually those provided by the individual but can also be via our own network. We never contact your current employer without specific express permission.
As we often work with people over many years, working with them on temporary/contract opportunities and providing general career advice, we retain the personal information we hold unless you ask us to delete it, usually for a period of 2 years (or longer if required to meet our legal obligations).
How we use personal information
To provide services as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
We use your personal information to act in your legitimate interests by identifying if career opportunities would be of relevance and interest to you.
Provision of news and updates on Prize Placements services and general career management advice.
We aim to assist individuals in managing their careers and hiring managers in making recruitment decisions through the provision of advice and perspectives on these topics. We may send you information on these topics from time to time.
Information storage and access
All the personal information we hold is stored securely on our premises and recruitment database. Only Prize Placements Ltd employees can access this information and we make every effort to store this information securely. We never sell personal information to third parties.
Outside Prize Placements, your personal information may be disclosed to:
Hiring companies – as described above
Regulatory or law enforcement authorities when required by law.
Service providers to Prize Placements, but only to the extent necessary to perform work under our direction (such as technology support, database administration & payroll management)
We make every effort to ensure the information we hold is accurate and up-to-date. All Prize Placements employees receive training on data privacy and security to ensure that personal information is held and used securely and appropriately. If any privacy breach of your personal information occurs, we will inform you and take all possible steps to rectify.
Subject to verifying your identity, you can ask to see what information we hold about you and can request that we correct any inaccuracies or that we remove the information we hold. We would only retain sufficient information to prevent future contact, maintain a record of information previously shared with clients and ensure we meet any legal obligations that may apply. If you inform us that you do not wish us to hold your personal information, we will not be able to provide you with career or project search services, or to provide any general career advice.
